Kristen Stewart , Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and the Perils of Fame.

When to Fame Too Much?
With all of the fame and media attention that has surrounded the Twilight franchise, it often comes to mind how difficult fame can make one's life.

Take the two main character actors of the movie, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Their lives have been thrust in to the a world of prying eyes and insane fandom . They are idolized ( and sometimes hated) by people who do not know them , and have been placed
at a level of fame that has trapped them in a perverbial fishbowl. They're not able to be free or run loose like the rest of us. According to tabloid reports, Kristen and Robert have become a romantic item. They cling to each other like victims in a storm.

Kristen especially has been open about the pressures of intense fame. She has seemed extremely uncomfortable talking about her personal life and has acknowledged to fans that she feels "awkward" in both fame and romance. In point of fact, her Twilight and New Moon costar, Peter Facinelli, told Usmagazine.com, "That's just Kristen. I think she has that shaky knee syndrome and that's part of her charm." As for Stewart's sudden ascension to celebrity, he adds, "I think being mind-blown about it isn't the same as being uncomfortable with it. I think she's got a real charm and grace about her, and I think she really is settling into it. We had a great time filming New Moon and we're all really excited for the next one - Kristen included."

Robert Pattinson, who has also hinted to his uncomfortable feelings about fame, seems to have soften up a bot about the whole thing. He has given quotes to certain interviewers that the sudden fame has been hard to adapt to, but his life has not changed as much as has been puplicized. in fsct, people magazine wrote, ["I never do anything normal anyway," he joked at the New Moon panel Thursday at Comic-Con in San Diego. "And I just get other people to do it now." ]

The reticent star also admires his fellow New Moon star Taylor Lautner, only 17, who seems to be grappling with celebrity more adeptly than Pattinson. Lautner is "much better at doing it [than I am]," Pattinson says. "He's completely handling it. I'm just freaking out all the time."
This is only the beginning for these young stars. Here is to hoping that they steer clear of the situations, the substances, and the bad people that have plagued the young stars that have come before them.
