Kristen Stewart says 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' director David Slade is 'very technical'

While at the Sundance Film Festival promoting The Runaways (in which she portrays rock legend Joan Jett alongside Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie from the band of the same name), Kristen Stewart was kind enough to share her views on the forthcoming third leg to the Twilight saga films, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Particularly, Stewart shared her opinions on Eclipse's director, David Slade, who fans of the series have come to know only through his use of the social networking site, Twitter.

Said she about Slade, according to HitFix, "He’s a very technical director. Very." Stewart continued on to describe Slade as "thoughtful," "conceptual," and "deliberate."

Her words run parallel to those issued by one of the Twilight series' newest cast members, Xavier Samuel. Just a couple of weeks ago, Samuel was quoted to say that David Slade was "very technically astute" and "uber intelligent."

Stewart's opinions on Slade - like Samuel's - are important to Twilight fans for quite a few reasons, not the least of which is the fact that there has been little to no press associated with Slade (or the film, for that matter) and that the cast hit the nail on the head when it came to their perceptions of the two former directors (that is, Catherine Hardwicke of Twilight and Chris Weitz of The Twilight Saga: New Moon).

Stewart issued her opinions on what his technical abilities would hold for the Twilight saga, though she hasn't seen the film. "I think it’s going to be cool for ‘Twilight,'" she said. "you’re not going to see, like, a bunch of Steadicam."

Some might remember Slade's offering of photos from the set of Eclipse - one of which happened to be his type of camera. Also, when issuing other photographs, Slade offered descriptive associations of the at-hand shot and the technique utilized in capturing it
