This is one for the fans of "Twilight" needing a fix to hold them over during the long wait for "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" in 2011. There are plans to re-release "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" to theaters once again, and the date is coming up fast! The movie is set to return to theaters on this Friday, September 10th! Yes, that is this week.
Why the re-release now? Apparently, it is in honor of Bella Swan's birthday. Bella is played by Kristen Stewart, and she is currently filming her next movie project "On The Road" with co-star Viggo Mortensen. This role is quite the departure from innocent Bella Swan as there are rumors of a lot of intimate scenes featuring Stewart and Mortensen, including a rumored threesome. Stewart's man, Robert Pattinson, has not been too thrilled by all he has seen on the set of the film. He is keeping a close eye on Stewart. Probably too close.
Bella's birthday is actually on September 13th, but the movie is being re-released on Friday to celebrate. The news first broke via the Facebook fan page for the film. "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" first hit theaters on June 30th, and it brought in $670 million since its release. Could this re-release help the film climb even higher on the movie charts. "Eclipse" focuses on the love triangle between Bella, Jacob and Edward played by Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson. Production on the next films in the series starts soon.
