Although she loves to dress down in flannel and Converse, Kristen Stewart clearly knows how to work the red carpet. When attending The Cinema Society & Everlon Diamond Knot Collection's screening of "Welcome to the Rileys", the actress who plays young stripper in the indie drama film looked chic in a lace dress.
Stepping out to the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City on Monday, October 18, the 20-year-old wore a one-shoulder mini dress with bow-detail on the shoulder. She accentuated her glamorous look with ruby red lipstick, a pair of black Brian Atwood pumps and an updo. Joining her at the special event were director Jake Scott and co-star James Gandolfini.
Also coming to the screening were Kristen's other co-star Melissa Leo and producers of the movie, Giovanni Agnelli and Scott Bloom. Meanwhile, "The Bounty Hunter" star Gerard Butler, Counting Crows' frontman Adam Duritz and "The City" actress Olivia Palermo were among the guests. A story about finding hope in the most unusual of places, "Welcome to the Rileys" follows a once happily married couple, Doug and Lois Riley, who have grown apart since losing their teenage daughter. After meeting 17-year-old runaway Mallory, what initially appears to be the final straw that will derail their relationship turns out to be the inspiration they need to renew their marriage.
Debuted at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, this drama movie written by Ken Hixon is to open in New York, Los Angeles and Boston on October 29. In anticipation of the release, Samuel Goldwyn Films has released another fresh clip via Coming Soon. It takes the focus on Melissa Leo, and shows how her character, Lois, is still grieving the death of her daughter.
