Kristen Stewart: Screamed Last Night, Looked Hot Doing It - Various Articles

Yes, Kristen Stewart was at Spike TV's Scream Awards last night!

There was some confusion at the start of the evening because her name had been taken off the media tip sheet, but...

Turned out she just wasn't able to make it to the arrivals in time. Why? Well, she'd been in Louisiana for about a day and a half rehearsing Breaking Dawn with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, so she was jetted in by private plane and made it to the Scream soiree with mere minutes to spare.

I'm told she landed in L.A. (Rob and Taylor stayed back for BD), hightailed it to a hotel for hair and makeup and slipped into a fab Guishem minidress and a pair of uh-maze-ing Giuseppe Zanotti heels. She then rushed over to the Greek Theatre, where she had a few minutes to hang in the VIP area (she and Nikki Reed gave each other a big hug) with the absolutely gorgeous Green Lantern duo Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds before running on stage to accept her shiny black statuette for Best Fantasy Actress from hunky Batman star Aaron Eckhart (more on him and his new movie, Battle: Los Angeles, later on).

Stewart returned to the VIP area, where she smoked cigs in a corner with a couple of suits and warmed herself under one of those portable heaters. She waved hello to Emma Roberts who was also puffin' away on cigs and chatting on a staircase landing with Scream 4 costars Neve Campbell and suddenly-single David Arquette and their director Wes Craven.

Reed and Jackson Rathbone tried to keep mum about when they'd be flying off to BD, but it sure sounded like it going to happen any second now.

Stewart didn't hang out much longer after Breaking Dawn was named Most Anticipated Movie. She had a plane to catch to New York today to do some publicity for her new indie flick, Welcome to the Rileys. She'll be on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday before returning to BD.

Meanwhile, also in the VIP lounge were Alexander Skarsgård and Kate Bosworth looking very much the couple that they are (much more PDA than the night before at the Esquire House), Eli Roth, Christopher Nolan, Ian Somerhalder hanging with his Vampire peeps Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. The True Blood gang held court in corner with show creator Alan Ball.

That's not all I have for you from the Scream Awards, which air on Spike on Tuesday. Make sure to come back right here later on for more scoop.

Kristen Stewart wins Scream Best Actress, upcoming film to open in theatres
Kristen Stewart won the Best Fantasy Actress award for Twilight film Eclipse at Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards held at The Greek Theatre this weekend (October 16) in Los Angeles, California.
Stewart's acting prowress will next be seen in the upcoming Welcome to the Rileys, opening in the United States on October 29 in limited release, and nationwide on November 5.

Kristen's new film premiered in Sundance Film Festival with accolades for the Hollywood actress. In Welcome to the Rileys, Stewart plays stripper and prostitute Mallory, a character which the Twilight star said was wholly different to any acting she has ever done.

To prepare for the role, Kristen reportedly practiced strip-teasing and had undergone private lessons. Rumors has it that Kristen Stewart, in the course of her preparation for the role, gave Robert Pattinson a sneak peek to her moves but that has never been confirmed. The two will reunite on-screen for the final adaptation in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn (Part 1 & 2).

Kristen Stewart Wins A Couple Of Scream Awards 2010

October 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The Spike Scream Awards held at Los Angeles, last Saturday night saw Kristen Stewart bag two prominent awards. She appeared on stage wearing a shiny LWD. She had been in Louisiana previously along with the cast of ‘Twilight’ where they had been getting ready to shoot for the final installment of the movie.

Stewart was honored with the award for the ‘Best Fantasy Actress’ for her role in ‘Eclipse’. She thanked all her fans by giving a short but well prepared speech on the occasion. She was back on stage a short time later, in order to pick up the award for the ‘Best Fantasy Movie’, this time for ‘Twilight’. Her co stars Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone accompanied her and they accepted the award together.

Kristen and Robert Pattinson had been seen together a lot lately especially since they have been gearing up to film the next part of the series. Pattinson, however, did not join Stewart and his other co stars for picking up the award although he won the coveted ‘Best Fantasy Actor’ for his depiction. He was reportedly in New Orleans preparing for ‘Breaking Dawn’.

Stewart looked totally enticing in her shiny white & black dress and recently dyed her. She had, apparently, decided to switch her hair color from blonde to brunette on account of the impending release of her movie ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’. Kristen was in time to collect her awards although she chose not to walk down the red carpet.

The Scream Awards will be aired on Spike TV on 19th October at 9 P.M, Eastern time.

Kristen Stewart at Spike's TV's Scream Awards on behalf of Eclipse

After some confusion because she didn't make it to the arrivals, Kristen Stewart did turn out at the Scream Awards and accepted all wins on behalf of Eclipse.

The Twilight star was late because she'd been in Louisiana getting ready to start shooting Breaking Dawn and didn't have much time to get back to L.A. for the awards show.

Her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner stayed behind on set, but Kristen's other costars, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone did join her at the awards.

Eclipse won awards for Best Fantasy Movie and Ultimate Scream. Then, Kristen won for Best Actress in a Fantasy, he beau Robert won Best Actor in a Fantasy and Xavier Samuel won Break-out Male Performance, all for Eclipse, of course.

The Twilight franchise also won another nomination for its fourth installment, Breaking Dawn, which took away the Most Anticipated Movie award.

The Spike TV's Scream Awards were taped on Saturday and will air on the night of Tuesday, October 18.

What do you think?
