I was checking out The-Numbers.com and thought I’d post an update on Eclipse DVD sales (sorry couldn’t find the old thread).
It’s doing really well:
As of Dec 19th
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse 981,130 -67.2%
6,362,626 $17,650,529 $114,463,642
So, 6,362,626 units sold in 3 weeks. After it’s third week, New Moon was at 6,053,860 total units, but with more significant drops (-77.4% as compared to Eclipse’s -67.2%). The chart doesn’t yet have numbers for the week just before Christmas, and I’m sure it sold well last week.
I’m thinking Eclipse will have no problem surpassing NM’s total DVD sales of 7,807,441.
