Sometimes the expression "you can't win 'em all" just isn't satisfactory enough - especially when it comes to The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Runaways star Kristen Stewart.
Earlier today, fans were asked to sound off on their opinions of Kristen Stewart's hairstyle at the MTV Video Music Awards (where she ushered in the new New Moon trailer with co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner).
Needless to say, the response, both in the comments and in the Twilight fan community generally, were very positive.
So, for one source (who usually brings some fun, juicy information about the Twilight cast) to say that "every single person there was thinking the same thing: Could this new ‘do be even fuglier than the mullet?" is a bit obtuse.
Stewart's decision to bring reality and genuineness to her role as Joan Jett in The Runaways brought her to the "mullet." Most fans agree that the decision was one that Stewart made with care and intelligence, and while it is certainly one thing to comment upon the wig that has been employed for use in her role as Bella Swan in Eclipse, it is another to take jabs at her during the VMAs - where most people think she looked stunning.
