The much-anticipated track list soundtrack for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” will be announced Today.
Acts who have already expressed interest in the soundtrack include Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Band of Skulls, and Death Cab for Cutie, who debuted “Meet Me on the Equinox” live on MTV.com during the VMAs last Sunday. The song will most likely be featured on the soundtrack, according to Twilight music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas. Patsavas did not comment to the New York Times whether the rumored acts Grizzly Bear or The Killers would make an appearance on the album."
This is a much more somber movie than 'Twilight,' " Patsavas revealed, according to MTV.com. "There is a lot of love lost, so the artists that are going to make up the soundtrack reflect that longing — a lot of acoustic instruments, a lot of a cappella singing."
