RUNAWAY WE GO
Score original film stills from the new Runaways movie.We saw The Runaways last night, and while we won't have an official review until Friday, we will say this: It looked incredible, with almost every shot set up like a cracked, sun-soaked work of art.
That's due to director Floria Sigismondi, who's also worked with David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, and The White Stripes on their music videos.
Now Floria's putting the film's graphic content up for sale in Los Angeles, with all proceeds going to charity. She'll be at Space FifteenTwenty in LA on March 12 from 7-10 PM, where her film stills of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning will be for sale. The profits benefit Stand Up for Kids, an organization that helps homeless and runaway children and teens.
If you can make it, the event promises to be a great party with lots of eye candy on (and off) the walls. And if you're not in LA, break out your camera, start shooting your favorite bands, and see what happens - maybe your rock biopic can be next.
