The minidresses, the makeup, the stilettos: Kristen Stewart has looked red hot as she’s traveled the world to promote The Twilight Saga: Eclipse—and now the young star has brand new auburn strands to match. “She’s preparing to play Mary Lou, a very famous character in On the Road, and we went through tons of images to pull inspiration,” Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel, who works with the star, told us. “We really wanted a beautiful strawberry with honey undertones.” How did they bring their vision to life? A trip to colorist extraordinaire Marie Robinson, who was also responsible for Michelle William's showstopping blond crop. “Marie is a genius,” Abergel told us. “She totally nailed it.” On the Road is set to release sometime in 2011, but Stewart debuted the new shade for an appearance yesterday on The Late Show with David Letterman.
