K-Stew flaunted her rock credentials at a fan event in 2008, teaming a cool, preppy jacket with a statement tee, cropped trews and her trusty Converse.

Winner: It was close, but we got serious style envy the second we clapped our eyes on Kristen’s edgy couture.

We loved how K-Stew gave her über-feminine, hot pink Doo-Ri dress an edge with slicked-back locks and black nails at The Runaways premiere in LA.

Whilst we love that Kristen wore this tough-girl leather jacket on the red carpet (to the premiere of maybe-boyfriend R-Patz’s latest flick, no less) – we’re not sure about the gold, lace trews she teamed with it. Even Kristen herself looks uncomfortable.

I will not play into this game of pitting one friend against another. Why does there have to be a "winner". Both are gorgeous and talented. Both are wonderfully dressed for their ages. Let there be no winners between them...just congratulate their friendship.
