Directed by Jake Scott, and starring James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart, and Melissa Leo, Welcome to the Rileys, which was screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, opened last Friday on 73 screens in France.
Distributed by Bac Films, Welcome to the Rileys landed in 24th place. During its first five days, the psychological drama took in $158k. According to local exhibitors, approximately 20-25k tickets were sold.
Coincidentally, that same weekend Unstoppable, directed by Jake Scott’s uncle Tony Scott, also opened in France. I won’t make any box-officecomparisons, as that would be quite absurd.
In the US, at most in 10 theaters at a time, Welcome to the Rileys has grossed (up to Nov. 14) $107k.

I have seen Welcome to The Rileys in France, in a very little theater. The film is great, Kristen and Gandolfini are awesome. I love this film.
