Examiner: Steadily throughout production of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, fans have been given minor glimpses here and there - mostly just sets themselves, but sometimes of the cast and crew at work. In the former case, there are few spoilers to be consumed, but when - as with early moments of production in Brazil, similar to the situation with New Moon in Italy - videos and images of the cast actually filming a scene are captured, the veil is lifted on several aspects of those sequences.
In most cases, this doesn't make a big difference as to whether fans are going to enjoy seeing those moments on-screen. In fact, when fans got to see Edward and Bella's Volterra reunion being filmed, it arguably helped intensify anticipation for that exact scene. The same may prove true for the honeymoon sequences witnessed in Brazil.
Some aspects of the story, though, are meant to be a real surprise. Apparently, the wedding is one of those.
According to the Daily Mail, the set of Breaking Dawn is being particularly protected right now as production of the wedding scene ensues. Evidently it "is surrounded by off-duty police officers and that Canadian staple - the Mounties." In other words, it is important to the filmmakers that the moments being captured today don't leak out, and they're taking extraordinary measure to ensure it doesn't happen.
Meanwhile, a couple of Twilight stars have been sharing thoughts from the set:
Peter Facinelli: "Very impressed by Elizabeth Reaser's stunt capabilities on BD. You're an action star Reaser".
Kiowa Gordon: "Back in BC. Squamish to be exact. The end of the Saga, is nigh".
Gordon's tweet isn't the only thing he's had to say about this leg of production. To one source, he explained, "Can't wait to see everyone dressed up and the beautiful bride and groom . . . I'll be wearing my tattered rags." He was obviously kidding.
One person who was not kidding, however, was Sergio Sa Leitao, president of Rio Filme which aided the Breaking Dawn Brazil-based filming process, when he assured Brazilian fans that there would indeed be a premiere for Breaking Dawn in that country.
As I said here.. there's going to be a Breaking Dawn premiere in Rio. The question is how it will be, who is going to attend, etc. We're in conversations with the production company, Paris Films and with Summit.
