Cindy Kroiss at celebs.gather.com: Robert Pattinson left the gorgeous Caribbean island of St. Thomas, where he and Kristen Stewart had been filming do-overs of their Breaking Dawn honeymoon scenes, to fly to Germany for the premiere of Water for Elephants with only a bodyguard for company. The Hotel de Rome in Berlin is famed for its luxurious, romantic suites, costing as much as $6,000/night. But what fun is a swanky suite when you're all alone? Robert Pattinson, of course, could find company anywhere, but it would not be like him to pick up a groupie.
At the least, it might have been fun to picture Kristen Stewart lounging on the beach for a few more days, but no—the pair flew together as far as Miami. No word yet as to where Kristen went from there, but Robert Pattinson jetted off to Europe where he languishes alone. Catching up with him later will be Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.
Fans can hope the Twilight stars didn't have to work every minute in the Caribbean sunshine. They stayed in a classy place there, too—the Ritz-Carleton. Seems like a waste if you can't enjoy the scenery.
Next Stop for Rob—Paris. Paris in the Spring is fabled to be one of the most romantic places in the world. Surely Kristen will join him there. Stay tuned.
