Examiner: Tonight, Taylor Lautner appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about his forthcoming films, Abduction, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
During the interview, Lautner talked a bit about how his work as a film star has come in handy with his love of football. During filming for both Abduction and Breaking Dawn, he got to visit with local football teams - Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orlean Saints, respectively. According to him, he was a bit surprised when some of the teammates he met knew who he was.
He went on to explain that while the core group of Twilight stars will continue to promote Breaking Dawn's two-part release for years to come, wrapping up filming for The Twilight Saga for good did get a bit emotional.
"It’s very weird. Yeah, we’ve literally been filming these movies for the past three or four years. It’s strange to know I’m not going back; I’m not going to be Jacob Black anymore . . . but on the other hand, we’re going to be promoting these movies for the next two years . . . I was pretty upset myself, but I think the biggest surprise was Kristen. She’s very sweet, yes. I predicted it from the beginning . . . on the last day, it did get emotional."
