November 24, 2011 The Hollywood Reporter The Kristen Stewart pic eyes $55 million-$58 million five-day gross, followed by "Muppets" with a debut in the $40 million range; "Arthur Christmas" hopes to hit $20 million, while "Hugo" makes a more limited play.
Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn--Part 1 topped the Thanksgiving eve box office with $12.5 million, while Disney's new family film The Muppets came in No. 2 with $6.6 million million.

In its fourth day of release, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 crossed $300 million at the worldwide box office.
The movie earned $9.85 million domestically on Monday, following a $139.5 million opening weekend.
Combined with an overseas haul just under $153 million, Breaking Dawn ended Monday with an overall total of $300.9 million.
Happy Two Feet, Immortals, Puss in Boots and Jack and Jill each topped $1 million in Monday ticket sales.
Breaking Dawn continues to play at 4,061 North American theaters.

November 21, 2011 The Hollywood Reporter Breaking Dawn Part I’ Breaks U.K. Opening Record

LONDON - U.K. and Irish distributor Entertainment One has announced that the fourth and penultimate film in The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part I broke records this weekend as it recorded the biggest ever opening for an American film in the U.K. grossing £13.9 million ($21.7 million). Breaking Dawn Part I also set the record with £6.35 million ($9.93 million) as the biggest non-3D opening Friday figure of all time, eclipsing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which grossed £5.9 million ($9.2 million). Including 3D films, this Friday figure has charted as the 2nd highest ever.
The film has become the biggest 2D opening of 2011 beating the previous record set by The Inbetweeners Movie which took £13.2 million over five days.

November 20, 2011 GossipCop Breaking Dawn Tops $283 Million Worldwide + Full U.S. Box Office
As expected, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 dominated the box office. The movie debuted to $72 million on Friday, the second-biggest single-day opening in history, and has taken in $139.5 million in the U.S. for the weekend.

That total includes the $30.25 million “midnight” screenings haul Breaking Dawn earned before dawn broke.
Internationally, the film has topped $144 million for a combined $283.5 million.

Coming in a distant second was Happy Feet Two with $21.8 million. Nabbing third was Immortals with $12.5 million in ticket sales.

November 18, 2011 GossipCop Breaking Dawn Earns $30.25 Million from Midnight Screenings
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 grossed $30.25 million from midnight screenings in 3,521 theaters, according to Summit Entertainment.

The sum is the best-ever showing for the franchise, topping the $30.1 million total for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Only Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 had a bigger opening midnight haul.

Breaking Dawn earned $8.9 million in overseas territory before even opening in the United States and Canada at 12:01 a.m. on Friday morning.
