Synopsis

One (1) Grand Prize Winner (“Grand Prize Winner” or “Winner”) will be randomly drawn from among all eligible entries received and awarded a Grand Prize, consisting of: a four (4) day / three (3) night trip for winner and one (1) guest (“Guest”) to London, England (“City”), on Sponsor-selected dates (“Trip”) consisting of the following elements: [1] round-trip coach air transportation on a Sponsor-selected carrier between a Sponsor-selected major metropolitan airport near winner’s residence (“airport of origin”) and a Sponsor-selected major airport in or near the City; [2] hotel accommodations (one [1] standard room/double occupancy, including room tax) for three (3) consecutive nights; [3] roundtrip ground transportation between the airport and the hotel; and [4] a visit to the set of Snow White and the Huntsman (“Set Visit”). Approximate Retail Value of Trip: $3,500 USD depending on city of origin, destination city, and dates of Trip. If the Trip’s actual retail value is less than its stated Approximate Retail Value, Winner will not receive the difference between the actual retail value and Approximate Retail Value. All expenses not specified above, such as meals, beverages, mini-bar, entertainment, telephones, souvenirs, gratuities, insurance, personal or spa services, etc., are solely the Winner’s responsibility. Winner must take Trip on SPONSOR-selected dates which will be sometime between November 28, 2011 and December 3, 2011 (travel dates subject to change) or Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and, at SPONSOR's discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. Travel must be made through SPONSOR's agent and SPONSOR shall determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. Winner and his/her Guest must travel together on the same itinerary. SPONSOR will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or prizes. Grand Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Grand Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles. Other Trip restrictions may apply. Winner and Guest are responsible for securing valid passports and/or any additional required travel documents at their sole expense prior to travel and must travel together on same itinerary. SPONSOR has no responsibility for lost, stolen, misplaced or mutilated tickets and/or travel documents, baggage, flight delays, or any other occurrences beyond its control. SPONSOR has no responsibility for Winner's inability or failure to accept or utilize the Prize as described herein or for any Guest’s inability to utilize it. Except where prohibited, Grand Prize Winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”). If the Winner is a minor, the Prize will be awarded in the name of or to his/her parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute the Affidavit/Release, and who must also accompany the Winner on the Trip. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian at all times. The Guest of the Grand Prize Winner must be 18 years of age or older and may also be required to sign a Liability and Publicity Release. IMPORTANT: SPONSOR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and randomly select an alternate potential Winner from among the eligible Sweepstakes entries in the event that a potential Winner: (a) is unreachable; (b) fails to respond to the notification; (c) fails, in the case of the potential Grand Prize Winner, to execute and return the Affidavit/Release (including, without limitation, providing his/her respective Social Security Number for tax purposes) or a Liability/Publicity Release, where allowed by law, by the specified return date, regardless of the cause of such failure; (d) declines acceptance of the Prize; or (e) has not, in SPONSOR’S sole determination, complied with these Official Rules. Exact specifics of Set Visit will be determined at SPONSOR's sole discretion. In the unlikely event of the cancellation or postponement of the Set Visit due to circumstances beyond SPONSOR's reasonable control, the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible. If such occurs, the Trip will be awarded without that element of the Grand Prize and the remainder of the Grand Prize shall constitute the complete and total prizing to be awarded. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible if the Grand Prize, or any part thereof, cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to any acts of God, action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond SPONSOR's sole control, and shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carrier(s), hotel(s), or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The Sweepstakes Entities will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). The Sweepstakes Entities shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to baggage. Odds: Odds of winning the Grand Prize depends upon the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Prize Notification: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about November 14, 2011 from among all valid entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Winner will be notified by email, phone, and/or mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing. If after a reasonable number of attempts (as determined by SPONSOR or Administrator in their sole discretion) contact is not made with a potential Winner or if the potential Winner cannot travel on the SPONSOR-selected dates, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected by random drawing from amongst all remaining eligible entries The potential Winner, or his/her parent if s/he is a minor in his/her state of residence, will be required to sign and return a notarized Affidavit/Release, where allowed by law, and such other documents as may be reasonably requested by SPONSOR. Failure to sign and return these documents by the return date specified in the prize notification will result in forfeiture of the entire Prize, and, time allowing, the selection of an alternate potential Winner. Guest must promptly sign and return Publicity/Liability Release, as allowed by law, prior to ticketing. All federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize is not transferable. No prize, cash or other substitutions allowed except at SPONSOR's sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. SPONSOR reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Grand Prize will be awarded upon receipt of Affidavit/Release, and verification of Winner's eligibility. By accepting the Grand Prize, Winner agrees that SPONSOR may use Winner's name, likeness, photograph and/or biographical information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration or payment, where permitted by law. All expenses not specified herein are the Winner's responsibility. Taxes on and in connection with Grand Prize is Winner's sole responsibility; SPONSOR or its designated agent may issue a Form 1099 to the Winner for prizes with an ARV of $600 or more. Grand Prize Winner's acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to SPONSOR and assigns to photograph, film, or otherwise capture the fulfillment of the Grand Prize, and SPONSOR shall have the unconditional right to reproduce, distribute, display, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, stream, synchronize with visual material, modify, amend, create derivative works, and otherwise use and permit others to use these photographs and footage throughout the universe in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in all languages and in all versions, in perpetuity, without compensation, except where prohibited by law. SPONSOR reserves the right to conduct a background check (“Check”) of any and all records of the Grand Prize Winner including without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports, which he/she, to the extent necessary under law, shall authorize. SPONSOR has the right to conduct a Check of any and all records of the Winner's Guest including without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports, which he/she, to the extent necessary under law, shall authorize. SPONSOR may take all steps necessary to corroborate any information provided to SPONSOR by the Grand Prize Winner and his/her Guest and he/she will be obligated to provide necessary contacts and information for the Check. If a felony conviction is found, SPONSOR has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the Grand Prize Winner or Guest from participating in the Trip. Limitation on Liability: Entrants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of materials/mail/e-mail submitted to SPONSOR. By entering, Entrant agrees to full Official Rules and to decisions of SPONSOR or Administrator, or their designated agent, which are final and legally binding in all respects and further agree that Grand Prize will be awarded “AS IS” and upon the condition that Sweepstakes Entities shall be held harmless for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Grand Prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes and further acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any Prize. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by SPONSOR, Administrator, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by technical or human error which may occur and/or which may damage a user's system or limit an Entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMIND THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL LAW. SHOULD AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the SPONSOR which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, SPONSOR reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof and SPONSOR may conduct a random drawing to award the Grand Prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of action requiring such termination. SPONSOR's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Should any provision of these Official Rules be deemed unenforceable or invalid, the other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect. By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and all decisions of SPONSOR and Administrator and to waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules. Privacy: Any personal information received by SPONSOR in connection with the Sweepstakes, is subject to the SPONSOR'S online privacy policy, which can be reviewed athttp://www.universalpictures.com/legal/privacy.html. Any personal information collected will be used by SPONSOR, ADMINISTRATOR and their respective agent(s) solely to administer this Sweepstakes and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose without the consent of the applicable entrant unless required by law. In the event of any discrepancy between the privacy policy and these Official Rules, the privacy policy will govern and control. By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that SPONSOR or Administrator have the right to contact entrant by telephone, email or regular mail. Governing Law: By completing the act of entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California . All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of California .
